There are four(4) main factors to consider when choosing a senior high school in ghana.
location is very important when choosing a senior high school, shs close to your current school are meant to be chosen as day schools whiles shs far from your current school are to be chosen as boarding schools. students that choose boarding schools far away from them / students that choose day schools close to them are placed faster
Another important factor is the course offered by the chosen school, students should choose schools that offer their preferred course and schools should also have facilities available for it
There are three categories of schools(Boys school, Girls Schools & mixed schools), choose schools of category that best fits your educational enviroment
Most importantly your grades, choosing top schools is a great thing, but choosing top schools without good grades isn’t the best, top school will place students with higher grades faster, so students should choose schools based on their performance or students should learn harder in other to achieve better grades
All the above listed is to be considered when choosing a school, in most cases students that do not consider the above mentioned may have to go through self placement
